My friend and fellow artist, Rachel Harper (beautyfromashesartwork.com) and I had the privilege of participating in the heART on Center Artwalk which was put on by San Diego State University and student volunteers. It was an amazing event that will hopefully be the beginning of many such events to bring art to the South County.We also got to meet a lot of wonderful up-and-coming super talented local artists!
Rachel and I planned for a couple weeks how we would set up our booth since it was the first art walk for both of us. It’s a LOT of work to be a mobile art gallery so we put our heads and resources together and the event was great!! Special thanks to Rachel’s brother who built our display walls for the event and to all our friends and family that came out to show their support!

Overall it was a great night and we were able to raise some money to help benefit victims of Human Trafficking.
