It My Money And I Need It Now It My Money And I Need It Now

Go. Love. — 2012

The message is not a confusing one—Go Love. Simple and straighforward.

And yet, why does is seems so difficult to put into practice. Ask most people and they will say that it is more LOVE that would cure the ails of this world. I’m relatively confident that most people will not refute that. As I paused for a moment in the midst of running my machine of my daily life, I looked around and was astounded by the sheer number of people around me. I sat encapsulated in my car and just marveled at the life that was rolling around me. They were as oblivious to me as I had been to them just moments before.  Wow, God, how can I love more? His quiet answer to me…Just GO…and LOVE.. Do not put restrictions, requirements, or political, spiritual or cultural boundaries. Do not ask for or expect it in return. Do not give it hesitantly. Simply love. Unconditionally, frequently, liberally. Because that is how I love.

C.S. Lewis once said, ““To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable.” –The Four Loves.
